Anchor Brewing co Just Got Sold To Sapporo

According to recent statistics, craft beer sales went down since 2004, and supposedly millennials are to blame.

San Francisco's famous Anchor Brewing Co just got purchased by Sapporo for $85 million. But we shouldn't' get so worried about the quality of our favorite drink. Craft beer pioneers promised to stay in San Francisco and keep the recipes untouched. They even plant to open a taproom across the brewery after the sale is finished.

Craft breweries have started experiencing some financial difficulties and are willing to sell out to bigger companies. Like Lagunitas, who got sold to Heineken this year, according to Eater.

Let's hope that it's all for good and for the stake of preservation of our favorite drink.
